About Us

Missouri Farmers Union Credit Union or MFUCU is a member-owned federally insured financial cooperative concerned with the well-being of farm families and rural communities. Members include the producers themselves, as well as consumers interested in seeing family farm agriculture thrive.

MFUCU serves the needs of its members by: capturing and re-investing wealth to sustain and enhance farm families and rural communities; providing ongoing education, risk management and marketing services for its members and providing an avenue for community involvement and empowerment.

MFUCU was founded by members of the Missouri Farmers Union. Missouri Farmers Union is joined by 22 other state and regional organizations that together comprise the National Farmers Union. There are nearly 250,000 members throughout the nation of National Farmers Union.

Missouri Farmers Union focuses on improving the economic interests and quality of life for farm families and the rural communities where they live. As the conscience of agriculture, Missouri Farmers Union fulfills its mission through education, cooperation and policy development.

Through its Family Farm Opportunity Center, Missouri Farmers Union is working hard to develop community-based, farmer driven, value-added projects that enable family farms to thrive and provide economic development in rural communities.

As a MFUCU member, the credit union is owned and controlled by YOU. The credit union profits are returned to its members in the form of better services, more favorable rates and dividends.
