Gary Wiggins Memorial Scholarship Application
Sponsored by Missouri Farmers Union

Eligibility:
• Applicants must be enrolled in a two- or four-year degree program in agriculture from a college, university or technical school. Adult and non-traditional student applications welcome.
• Applicants also must plan to enter production agriculture or other related service to rural communities upon completion of their degree.
• Farmers Union membership is preferred, but not required.

Amount:
• One scholarship in the amount of $1000 will be awarded.

Application deadline:
• January 4, 2008

Application materials to be returned:
• Completed application form
• Written essay, 500 words or less, highlighting applicants plans to serve agriculture and rural communities upon completion of degree.

Recipient will be selected by:
• January 18, 2008
• Scholarship will be awarded at the Missouri Farmers Union Annual Convention on January 25 or 26, 2008 in Moberly, Missouri.
