Balkenbush Joins Missouri Farmers Union Credit Union

JEFFERSON CITY (October 9, 2006) – Missouri Farmers Union Credit Union (MFUCU) board of directors has announced the appointment of Crystal Balkenbush, Westphalia, as the credit union’s manager.

“The MFUCU board is pleased to welcome Crystal as our manager,” said Russ Kremer, MFUCU board chair. “She was selected from a highly competitive field of applicants, and we believe her experience, financial knowledge and concern for family agriculture will be a tremendous asset to our membership.”

Balkenbush has seven years of financial experience ranging from customer service, accounting, trust and employment benefit services, and investments. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Management.

“I am very excited to be named manager of Missouri Farmers Union Credit Union at this critical time in the growth of the new credit union,” said Balkenbush. “I hope to use my education, management abilities and creativity to assist MFUCU in maximizing its services and products to best serve our members.”

In her capacity as manager, Balkenbush will be responsible for running MFUCU’s day-to-day operations and delivering enhanced products and services to members. Under her leadership the credit union will begin offering Automated Clearing House transactions (ACH) in October 2006. This service will allow members to direct deposit payments or withdraw funds automatically through their member share account.
