Russ Kremer
President, Missouri Farmers Union

Russ Kremer (rkremer@missourifarmersunion.org) is a diversified family farmer from Osage County, Missouri and president of the Missouri Farmers Union. He is a member of the board of directors of the National Farmers Union and serves on their Cooperative Development, Legislative, and Farm Bill committees. A past president of the Missouri Pork Producers Association, Kremer has served on the agricultural advisory committee of five different Missouri governors. He is actively working with various community based, value added, cooperative projects such as cooperative distribution; sustainable production, processing and marketing of livestock; organic dairy and vegetable processing; and biomass recovery.

 

 

Amy Meyer
Executive Director, Missouri Farmers Union

Amy Meyer (ameyer@missourifarmersunion.org) is the
executive director for Missouri Farmers Union and has served
in that capacity since April 2008. Prior to that position Amy served as the Director of Outreach and Communications for Missouri Farmers Union, and has served as the administrator of the Family Farm Opportunity Center. Amy was raised on a diversified family farm in Bowling Green, Missouri and continues to operate an Angus and commercial cow-calf operation with her brother. She
is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management and previously served as the Director of Membership and Education for Rocky Mountain
Farmers Union in Denver, Colorado. She resides on the family farm
with her husband, Mark, near Hannibal, Missouri.
